Channel Content Manager (Contract, Full-time)
Job description
We are seeking a curious, intuitive, self-motivated, and creative communications professional to support internal communications for one of the largest companies in the world. You will implement global and local employee communication and specific engagement strategies and programs for operations staff in Australia.
The role would suit a tenacious, detail-orientated people person with a passion for storytelling, agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business, and juggle priorities.
This is a one-year contract, with potential to be renewed yearly. It’s a remote role with working hours based on Singapore/Melbourne time, your preference.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality written, visual, video and other assets with clear, tailored narratives to engage the operations employees.
Prepare and publish approved content across internal digital and print media channels including, employee app, intranet, site bulletin boards and digital signage, and eDMs.
Maintain and manage a weekly editorial calendar for multiple print and digital internal channels, identifying stories that aligns with business needs.
Provide evaluation, analysis and reporting of internal communication channels and campaigns to inform continuous improvement and future strategies.
Manage projects efficiently with processes and systems
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
At least 4 years of communications experience within a multi-national company or agency
Experience building and rolling out robust communications programs and delivering results
Excellent writing skills are a must, with the ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and create a concise and well-written narrative
Proficient in using Microsoft PowerPoint to design visually appealing assets
Great-to-haves:
Internal or external communications experience with logistics, operations, or retail companies
Experience developing relevant content and managing communication channels for a diverse and mobile workforce
Experience in editorial calendar management including not only carrying out each activity but also monitoring its implementation and, where necessary, making adjustments or forward planning
Experience with using metrics to measure communication and program effectiveness, reach, and engagement
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while meeting deadlines
Self-starter who can work in a highly ambiguous and start-up environment and still produce specific results
Possess a strategic approach to problem solving; able to anticipate potential reputational issues
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is a bonus.
